New Single From Baruch Naftel –“Dagul Mervava”

Coming off the heels of an Acapella version of his widely popular song “B’ezras Hashem” which was released this past sefirah season, Baruch Naftel is bringing something new to the table. For a number of years now he has been contracted out as Baal Tefilah for the Yomim Noraim in various locations across the country. Most recently his position has taken him to Uman, Ukraine, where thousands travel to the Tzion of R’ Nachman of Breslov for Rosh Hashana. There he has taken the responsibility of leading the davening at a minyan not too far from the Tzion consisting of people from all walks of life. Baruch has decided that the time has come to share a little bit of this experience with the rest of the world. For this he has chosen to release his own take of the widely popular Bobover Niggun commonly used for the Piyut of “Dagul Mervava” sung in the Chazzans Repetition of the Shacharis Shemonah Esrei on Rosh Hashana & Yom Kippur. So sit back and enjoy this beautiful single. We hope it inspires you in these days of awe!

‘Paid in Full’ – The New Hit From Eitan Freilich For The High Holidays!

“As we approach the Yomim Noraim (High Holy Days), I would always feel a sense of connection to HaShem when saying the Avinu Malkeinu teffilah. We come before HaShem and we want to buy something very expensive. We want to buy life. But we cannot afford it. We don’t have enough money to pay for it. We don’t have the merits.” The artist of this hit song, Eitan Freilich, explains the meaning behind the title of this hit single “Paid In Full”.

Freilich who is known for his on-stage charisma and energy in the Chassidic music world continues to explain: “So we come to the Almighty and we empty out our pockets, giving him whatever merits we have plus promises for the future. I’ll pick up the phone and call someone who is lonely, I will learn an extra five minutes of Torah, I will be kind and I will be scrupulous about not speaking lashon hara (gossip) for one hour a day.

HaShem is listening and he says, “You don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve felt what love means.” He sees how much we love Him and how much we yearn to improve, and He says, “You know what? You have touched my heart. Here it is, Paid in Full.”

Song Concept: EITAN FREILICH
Composer: YITZY WALDNER

Arranger: IAN FREITOR
Backing Vocals: YITZY WALDNER

True story as told by Rabbi Go’el Elkarif who said he heard it from the person to whom it happened. Inspired by aish.com.

Amiran Dvir & The Shababnikim Sing ABout The Chafetz Chaim “Netzor Leshoncha”

In honor of the Yomim Noraim singer and artist Amiran Dvir is releasing a new single with an important message about Shmiras Ha’Loshon.
The well-known Passuk of Mi Ha’Ish is getting a fresh new meaning from the tune that Amiran has composed for it. Amiran has performed in the past with some of the best in the world of Israeli singers, including Dovid D’or, Yirmi Kaplan, Arik Sinai, Gilad Segev, Shimmy Tavori, and others. Now, in this special single he is joined by the talented actor Ori Lazerovitch from the Shababnikim TV series. This is the second joint effort between Amiran and Ori, the first one was the single Ein K’Mo Gedaliah that they recorded due to the special character that Ori played on the show. Amiran even invited Ori to perform with him at a concert where they sang Netzor Leshoncha for the first time.

Amiran says that the song is being released at a very interesting time. 24 Elul is the Yahrtzeit of the Chafetz Chaim, the one who took Shmiras Ha’Lashon as his own personal life task, and even released a sefer of all of the Halachos on the topic. Also this week’s Parsha mentions the passuk of “Arur Makeh Rei’eihu Ba’Seiser”, which Rashi comments on and explains that it is referring to one who speaks Lashon Harah about his friend, and how important it is to be careful in this. Amiran feels that even if this song helps even one Jew refrain from speaking Lashon Hara, it would have been worth it.

Shloime Kaufman Releases “Hamelech Hamishpat” [MBD Cover]

Shloime Kaufman is back with another ACAPELLA single: “Hamelech Hamishpat“, to help everyone prepare for the upcoming Yomim Noroim. After his successful Acapella release of Mordy Shapiro‘s hit song “LI” during this past sefira, it was apparent that many people needed a “musical conduit” to stir their spiritual emotions. However, as we all prepare for Yom Hadin, there are very few musical tracks released that can properly elicit these feelings.

Besides all of our heartfelt prayers, HASHEM wants our hearts’ and our souls’ devotion. Who better to strike those chords deep inside of us than the King of Jewish Soul- MBD – Mordechai Ben David? Originally recorded on his “Yerushalayim is Not for Sale” album, “B’ain Mailitz Yosher”, written by Mordechai himself, is the quintessential composition.

Shloime is proud to present his acapella version of this Yom Tov classic in the memory of Harav Zechariah Gelley zt’l, the beloved Rav of K’hal Adath Jeshurun (KAJ) in Washington Heights, New York. Rav Gelley zt’l was known for his commitment to teaching our Mesorah to the next generation, his unwavering love for his Kehila and above all his family.

In practicing the lessons that Rav Gelley zt’l imparted, the family is asking everyone to please visit www.friendsofoneg.org and make a donation to help support the amazing work of Oneg Shabbos v’Yom and help the hungry in Eretz Yisroel. In this zechus may Harav Zechariah b’ Reb Menachem’s neshama have an aliyah.

Israel In Our Hearts – F. D. D. Artists Presenting A New Song For A New Year

$

Following the yearly tradition, all artists represented by F.D.D Productions by David Fadida joined together in a special song written in honor of the Land of Israel. The song, called ‘Israel in our Hearts‘, talks about the deep connection that every Jew feels for the holy land of Israel.
Among participating artists are great singers such as Ohad Moskowitz, Itzik Dadya, Uziya Tzadok, The Kinderlach, The Vocals, maestro Gershon Frieshtat and violinist Daniel Ahaviel. The song itself was composed, written and produced by duo Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry. The song was filmed as a unique video clip with participation of all the artists, and includes breathtaking images from the country’s landscapes, which constitute a spectacular accompaniment to the heartfelt words.

The initiator of this special project is Simon Jacob, a new immigrant, who also participates in the video clip and talks about the great miracle that is happening to the Jewish people, with the return of Jews from all corners of the world back to the Holy Land. Jacob, along with global Jewish media celebrity Nachum Segal and F.D.D. Productions, are active throughout the year in a variety of projects among Jewish communities around the world.

Ohad Moskowitz says that his participation in the video clip was only natural. “There is no better way to convey a message than music,” he says. “I myself was born in Belgium and immigrated in my youth to live in the State of Israel. Every day I receive correspondence from people all over the world who tell me how I managed to touch their hearts and souls. I see it as my mission to relate to people through music.”

For Itzik Dadya, the message of the song reminded him of his experiences in the IDF. “My service in the army as part of the military rabbinic band shaped my worldview regarding the Land of Israel,” relates Itzik. “Today, in my concerts all over the world, I see myself as an ambassador of the State of Israel. I continue to represent it with respect, and this was also my goal in this special song.”

David Fadida, director and producer, is also very excited about the project. “For over 20 years, I have been producing artists and projects in the field of Jewish music. I believe that there is no greater mission than to create connections that cross borders and unify all for one purpose. This is what drives me to continue innovating and initiating every day as if it were my first day at work.”

Micha Gamerman feat. Elie Schwab “Machar Yihiyeh Ha’ot Hazeh” [Lyrical Video]

Brazilian superstar Micha Gamerman is back with the perfect new single to help you usher in the new year “Machar Yihiyeh Ha’ot Hazeh.” The song was composed by veteran composer Elie Schwab, who joins Micha on this song.

The song features words from Megillas Esther as well as words from Shemois and the medrash. It is well known that the Megilla is a mashal to the Jewish people and Hashem. As a matter of fact, every time it says “Hamelech” in the Megilla it’s a reference to Hashem. That being the case, when Esther goes to Achashverosh to ask for him to save her people, it’s a mashal to Bnei Yisrael coming to Hashem and begging for their lives like we do each and every Rosh Hashana/Yom Kippur. The next words “Umachar E’eseh Kidvar Hamelech” is a “kabblah al ha’asid” of things to come. Meaning I am making a request of you Hashem, and I will do better in the future and that is the reason you should forgive me.

The possuk in Shemois says that before Hashem took Bnei Yisrael out of Mitzrayim He said, “Machar Yihiyeh Ha’ot Hazeh” that tomorrow there will be a sign. The Ramban says there is a difference between an Ois (a sign) and Moifes (Miracle). An Ois or ‘Ot’ means something will happen. Since it’s a sure thing, it’s like it already began to happen.

So on Erev Yom Kippur in slichos when we say “Machar Yihiyeh Ha’ot Hazeh”, we are telling Hashem that tomorrow (Yom Kippur) is going to be OUR Ois (sign) we are going to have this ‘kabblah al ha’asid” of things to come and we will change and be better. This means that there is a promise that will occur and we WILL be better.

May we all have a year filled with Simcha, Parnassah, Hatzlacha, Nachas, Zivuggim and healthy children. This should be the year where we see the OIS (ot) of Moshiach.

Amen
